Spiced Syrup

1 Cup Brown Sugar

1 Cup Water

2 Cinnamon Sticks

1 Star Anise

1 Teaspoon Whole Cloves

1 Teaspoon Whole Allspice

1 Teaspoon Grated Nutmeg

In a sauce pan on medium heat pour in all your ingredients and stir until sugar is dissolved. Bring to a simmer for 2-3 minutes occasionally stirring, remove from heat, and allow to cool completely before straining through a fine mess strainer in to a container. Will keep for up to 2 weeks in refrigerator.
