Chili Kumquat Syrup

-3 Sliced Serrano Chilis

-0.5 Cup Halved Kumquats

-0.5 Cup Sugar

-0.5 Sugar Water

In a sauce pan pour in all ingredients and on medium heat bring to a simmer. Allow sugar to melt and mixture to slightly thicken, 2-5 minutes, and the remove from heat. Pour through a mesh strainer in to a jar and refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.
