-2oz Woodford Reserve Rye Whiskey

-1oz St. George Spiced Pear Liqueur

-0.5-1oz Lemon Juice

-Garnishes: Lemon Peel and Luxardo Cherry

Fill cocktail shaker with ice and pour in whiskey, spiced pear liqueur, and lemon juice. Shake vigorously for 10 seconds. In a whiskey glass (short and fat) place a large ice cube, round or square, and pour on top. Take the lemon peel, roll it in to a circular shape, and using a cocktail pick pierce it through the peel and cherry. Place garnish on top.

Notes: Rye whiskey is important for this kind of cocktail because the pepperiness helps combat the sweetness from the spiced pear liqueur.
